Our Story

Founded by Ashish Kekaan in 2025, Devpalettes started as a passion project to solve a personal frustration with existing color tools. As a developer working on web projects, Ashish noticed that most color generators were either painfully slow, cluttered with intrusive ads, or locked behind sign-up walls that nobody wanted to deal with.

The breaking point came when a simple task — picking a complementary color scheme for a client project — required creating an account on three different websites, each with its own paywall and data-harvesting practices. That experience sparked a question: Why isn't there a fast, clean, free tool that just works?

Devpalettes was built to be that tool. From day one, the focus was on speed and simplicity — open the page, pick your colors, export your palette, and get back to building. No friction, no tracking, no compromises. What started as a side project quickly found an audience.
